Wild Rose Counselling
About me
Hi there, it's nice to meet you.
I am a cis-female settler, born and raised in Vancouver (unceded and ancestral Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh, and Musqueam Territory). My approach to therapy is holistic, trauma-informed, and integrates evidence-based practices, including polyvagal theory, neuroscience, EMDR, IFS as well as Attachment and Emotion-focused principles.
I completed my Masters in Counselling Psychology and worked as a research assistant for over 5 years exploring the personality traits of Perfectionism, Narcissism, and Loyalty. I've completed several post-grad trainings and always strive to keep learning and bettering my practice.
In addition to my education, I have worked for several years with the BC Ambulance in emergency medical case management. I have a lot of experience working with folks at all levels of health care as well as providing critical incident stress support. I enjoy working with first responders and healthcare workers in my therapy practice.
